Title of the Project: RAMS impact on Asset Management stakeholders

Request for participation from Esreda Members: Cyp Van Rijn (Asset management consultancy) as he is a senior who can guide the PG.

 

 

2)   Working Plan and Schedule

 

·The first kick off meeting of the working Group members was held on 21st Oct 2009 during the 37th ESReDA

 

   seminar held in baden, Switzerland.

·It was presented to the BoD during the same conference.

·The PG will need to be approved by the General Assembly in May 2010.

·Then only formally, the work shall start.

·A conference call in June 10 is anticipated among the working group members followed by a meeting along with the 39th Esreda conference.

 

·As first step, Plan is to consolidate the experience and focus on the key target and parameters by July 2011.

·Secondly, the impact of parameters, drivers will be investigated by July 2012 along with overall focus on the optimization potential during new design phase.

·In general, several aspects of the topic will be parrallely focused and the project is anticipated to end with a seminar expected in 2013, hopefully.

 

Duration of the working group: 3-4 years

 

 

 

3)   General Description of the focus of this PG:

 

·Define the targets as key indicators with values, tolerances and relevance.

·Identify, reassess and sort the parameters existing in RAMS domain.

·Clarify the impact of these parameters on performance of the asset.

·Set magnitude and probability of the asset drivers.

·Integrate the evolution of asset management end users requirements.

·Asset optimization aspects during new design phase and rejuvenation.
